Here is everything we know about JustWatch TV: launch date, countries, content partners, prices and how to start watching in the JustWatch APK.

What Is JustWatch TV?
For a decade, JustWatch was purely a guide — it sent you to Netflix, Prime Video or Apple TV to actually watch. JustWatch TV adds JustWatch's own player inside the app. After a preview at TIFF's industry market on September 15, 2026, the company opened the service to its guide users, which it says number around 50 million worldwide.
JustWatch TV Plans: Free, Rent and Plus
| Tier | How it works | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Free with ads (AVOD) | A growing catalogue of movies and shows you can stream at no cost, with ad breaks | Free |
| Rent & Watch Now (TVOD) | Pay for a single title and watch it inside JustWatch | Per title — App Store listings start around $3.99 |
| JustWatch TV Plus | Removes ads from the JustWatch TV catalogue | Paid subscription (price varies by country) |
JustWatch TV is separate from JustWatch Pro, which is about ad-free browsing and extra filters in the guide itself.
Which Countries Have JustWatch TV?

North America
United States, Canada
Europe
UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain
Oceania
Australia, New Zealand
Switzerland was mentioned in the September preview but was not part of the final launch list. The JustWatch guide itself still works in about 140 markets. Interestingly, "JustWatch TV" already appears as a provider in JustWatch India's filter list — but India is not an official launch market, so availability there may be limited. Check the app in your country.
Content Partners on JustWatch TV
JustWatch says it launched with 30 content partners, with more on the way. Named partners include Cineverse, Leonine Studios, SND, Altitude, Paramount, New Regency, Fremantle, Bleecker Street and Vortex Media. Expect a mix of Hollywood library films, independent movies, European titles and TV series rather than brand-new blockbusters.

Is JustWatch TV Legal?
Yes. Every title on JustWatch TV is licensed from its rights holders. That is very different from sites that use the JustWatch name to offer "free movie downloads". If your goal is free, legal viewing, JustWatch TV and the app's Free filter (which also shows YouTube, Tubi, Pluto TV or Amazon MX Player titles depending on your country) are the right tools.
