Is There a JustWatch App for Android TV?

Yes. JustWatch publishes a separate edition called JustWatch – Streaming Guide (Android TV). Your watchlist and services sync automatically when you sign in with the same account.

Method 1: Install JustWatch from Google Play on Android TV / Google TV

1. Open the Play Store on your TV On Google TV, go to Apps → Search for apps.
2. Search "JustWatch" Use the remote's microphone or the on-screen keyboard.
3. Install the Android TV edition Select JustWatch – Streaming Guide by JustWatch GmbH and press Install.
4. Sign in Choose "Sign in on your phone" or scan the QR code to link your existing JustWatch account.

This is the recommended method because the app updates automatically.

Method 2: Install JustWatch on Amazon Fire TV Stick

JustWatch lists Fire TV among its supported platforms. From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search, type "JustWatch" and select Get or Download. If the app does not appear in your region, sideload it with the steps below.

Method 3: Sideload JustWatch APK on Fire TV or an Android TV Box

1. Install Downloader On Fire TV, search for the free Downloader app (by AFTVnews) and install it.
2. Enable Developer Options Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click on your device name seven times until it says you are a developer.
3. Allow unknown apps Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps and turn it on for Downloader.
4. Enter the APK link Open Downloader and type the URL of the official JustWatch Android TV APK from a trusted source.

• "App not installed": remove any older copy first, then install again.
• Watchlist empty: make sure you signed in with the same account as on your phone.
